NAME OF WORK
Construction of Radial Collector Well of 5000mm internal dia. with 300mm dia. horizontal strainer capable of yielding 5 MGD with pump house and approach bridge in the river bed of Ajay for Jamuria augmentation water supply scheme under PHE Directorate (W.B.) in the year 2007.
SCOPE OF WORK
- Construction of Radial/Collector ( Capacity 5 MGD) will comprise of constructing and providing the following :
- Construction of 5.0 m internal Dia RCC well steining and sinking it to required depth and rising the same to required height as per drawing.The floor of the pump house to be constructed over the well.
- Providing 300 mm internal dia MS slotted pipes as per specifications and driving the same horizontally in surrounding aquifier at suitable depth as per drawing.
- Providing Pump House over the well shaft with facility of installing five ton capacity moving Crane.
- Steel ladders from the bottom of the well to the valve operation/control platform to the floor of the pump house.
- The work of construction of MS structural approach Bridge comprises the following:
- It will comprise of a central passage of 1.00 M width for movement of operating personnel and transportation of pumps and other accessories.
- It will provide facility of laying one no 450mm dia, one no 150mm dia CI/MS rising mainon one side.
- The superstructure of approach Bridge will be of steel structure with RCC precast or insitu decking slab as per grawing as per IRC/IS code.

NAME OF WORK
Construction of Radial Collector Well 5.0 MT internal dia. with horizontal strainer capable of yielding 10 MGD water pump house delivery pipes and approach bridge on river bed of Damodar at damalia village including operation and maintenance for 42 MLD water supply scheme at Ranigunj Municipality under Asansol Durgapur Development Authority. (While the execution of one collector well out of two wells has already been completed during the year 2010 in all respect to the highest satisfaction of the concerned department including operation & maintenance for 36 months as per provision of NIT in the year 2013 whereas execution of the other collector well is being progressing expeditiously)
SCOPE OF WORK
- Radial Collector Well inside River( 5 MGD capacity) :
- Design and Construction of 2 number 5m ID RCC Well and Sinking the same to the required depth as per approved drawing.
- Providing Pump House over well shaft with installation of 5 MT capacity H.O.T Crane.
- Providing 12 nosx3 layers of Radial 300mm NBMS of a 5 mm thick and driving the same horizontally in the surrounding aquifier as per drawing.
- Providing 3 x 12 nos 300 mm NBspecial NRV at inlet of each pipe near intake.
- Providing Steel Ladder from the bottom of wells to valve operating platform and from there to floor pump house and suitable operating floor on top of the well with cantilevered radial walkway to interconnect the approach bridge to the top of wellnplatform.
- Providing suitable roof with crane supporting arrangement on top pf pump house as per drawing.
- Approach Bridge from Intake Well to shore
- Design & Construction of 2 nimbers M.S. Structure Bridge on River Damodar from each collector wellto the abutment at shore
- The Brige will comprise a central pasage, laying and fixing of rising main with specials for supply of water to the clear water
- Neoprine bearing As per IRC code.as per requirement.
- Designing and fabricating MS structural griders supported on intermediate piers and abutments for carring the load of approach deck, pipes, loading rails etc
- Providing Pier cap in RCC in M-25 concrete including RCC column and for support of approach Bridge.
- Providing RCC cast in situ piles below river beds 6 nos per set as per requirement. and laying stone pitching behind abutment and wing wallas per site condition.
- Provision of a suitable hand driven trolley to carry pump, motor, pipes, specials etc.
